Lawn Mower Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Mower Operator to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality lawn and landscape areas through precise mowing, trimming, and general groundskeeping. Your expertise will help create beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Responsibilities

• Operate lawn mowers, including riding and push mowers, to ensure well-manicured lawns and turf areas.
• Use hand tools and power tools for edging, trimming, and detailed landscape maintenance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and tree care to promote healthy growth.
• Assist with irrigation system setup, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with installation of features like pathways or patios when needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn equipment and power tools.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree trimming, horticulture practices, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers.
• Knowledge of snow plowing equipment and techniques for winter groundskeeping is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures during equipment operation.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
