Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy, attractive lawns.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
• Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or hardscape installation.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.
• Support general maintenance tasks including garden bed upkeep, soil preparation, and debris removal to keep outdoor spaces pristine.

Experience

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is preferred.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, gardening practices, and hardscape installation will set you apart.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling equipment like power tools and construction machinery.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
