Lead and Assistant Teachers for Childcare Center

Learning Land Early Learning Programs is seeking Teachers for our Childcare Centers, located on the East Hill of Kent

Must be energetic, outgoing, and interactive with the children while creating a fun and positive environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include the safety, care, and education of the children enrolled in the center and will demonstrate competency in these areas and others
• Planning and implementing positive guidance strategies designed to meet the individual needs of the children in care; supporting positive child outcomes; teaching and participating in positive assistance in potty-training, open and professional communication with co-workers, managers, and families.
• Build and sustain warm, responsive, and positive relationships with all children and their families to create a welcoming environment.

Qualified candidates need to:

• Have at least 6 months of experience working with children in a licensed facility or classroom setting.
• Be dedicated, reliable, and organized with a strong interest in children and education
• Strong communication skills along with the ability and desire to work as a team member of a diverse and dynamic team

Hours of Position:
Monday-Friday

Full and Part Time Available

Wage Range:
$22.00-26.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
