DORCHESTER BREWING CO. is a Boston-based brewery that started in 2016 and has been growing since. Our unique 2,000 square foot tap room is also home to M&M BBQ which is a generational family business serving the best BBQ in Boston. Along with our craft brews, we have obtained our full liquor license and will be offering a wide variety of craft cocktails.

LEAD BARTENDER

DBC is looking for a fun, energetic Lead Bartender to help serve craft beer and cocktails in our Dorchester tasting room. The ideal candidate will be friendly, motivated, and hardworking. Someone who takes initiative, likes craft beer and LOVES to talk to people. A minimum of 3 years working behind a bar is required for this position.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD:

Have a passion for craft beer, cocktails and Dorchester cultures

Be a self-starter and have attention to detail; we work in a fast paced environment that is constantly changing

The ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time

Enjoy your job and make sure others do as well (key)

REQUIREMENTS:

Full Time Availability (5 shifts/week)

Flexible Weekday & Weekend Availability (Days and Nights Required)

Cocktail Experience (minimum of 3 years working behind a bar)

Ability to lift/move kegs

Microsoft Excel Comprehension

Leadership Skills

Attention to Detail

Ability to follow set procedures

Beer education

TIPS Certification (a plus)

COMPENSATION:

Sick Time/PTO

Salary is commensurate with experience
