Lead Bartender – The Spirit Room

The Spirit Room is looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Lead Bartender to help oversee bar operations and support management in maintaining a high-quality guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and is comfortable taking initiative during busy shifts and special events.

Position Overview

The Lead Bartender will work closely with the Bar Manager to assist with daily operations, support staff, maintain service standards, and help ensure smooth bar execution during regular service and events. This position includes leadership responsibilities and training in select management duties to provide coverage during management absences.

Availability Requirements

-Must have reliable availability on weekends

-Must be available for weekday and weekend events as needed

Flexibility with scheduling is highly preferred

Responsibilities

-Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere

-Prepare and serve beverages consistently and efficiently

-Support opening and closing procedures

-Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and bar cleanliness

-Help maintain service standards and workflow behind the bar

-Communicate effectively with bartenders and help with team direction on shifts

-Assist with event execution and high-volume service

Qualifications

-Previous bartending experience required

-Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

-Strong communication and problem-solving skills

-Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment

-Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

-Ability to lift cases and stand for extended periods
