Lead Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Bartender to elevate our bar service to new heights. In this energetic role, you will lead our bartending team, craft exceptional cocktails, and deliver memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in beverage preparation, customer service, and team leadership will be essential in creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. With TIPS the average pay is around 20/30 per hour, NOT including your base pay. Work the busy days like nights and weekends and it could be more!

Duties

• Lead and supervise the bartending team to ensure efficient and friendly service during all shifts
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Maintain high standards of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service in accordance with health regulations
• Train new team members on proper serving techniques, POS operation, customer service standards, and safety procedures
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure a positive experience for all guests
• Collaborate with management on special events like banquets or catering functions to provide seamless beverage service
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health codes and safety standards
• Will need to be available on some nights and most weekends.

Skills

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience with banquet service or catering setups is a plus
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and inventory management
• Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage crafting techniques is advantageous
• Ability to lead by example while fostering a positive team environment
