Lead Bartender

A Fuego Lento is looking for a strong, hospitality driven Lead Bartender to join our team. We are searching for someone who can lead behind the bar with confidence, maintain high service standards, and help create a memorable guest experience in a fast paced Latin restaurant environment.

This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience, strong cocktail knowledge, and the ability to manage both service flow and team organization during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations during service while maintaining speed, quality, and consistency
• Prepare classic cocktails, signature cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages
• Help oversee bar organization, cleanliness, and prep
• Support training and development of bartenders and bar support staff
• Maintain inventory awareness and communicate product needs to management
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with safety standards
• Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth operations
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, menu improvements, and guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations
• Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Weekend and evening availability required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
