Lead Bartender / Mixologist

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team by demonstrating expert mixology skills and ensuring consistent quality in every drink served.
• Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Create innovative cocktails and beverage menus that excite guests and reflect current trends in the food industry.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate beverage service seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling, and beverage sanitation protocols.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events in hospitality environments.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
• A friendly attitude with outstanding customer service skills to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests.
