Lead Business Analyst | Fulltime
Job purpose:
Liaison between the customer and the technical team to bridge the gap between the Business need and the delivered solution. Acts as a first level of mentoring and support for junior and senior analysts.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Manage the business analysis activities of different projects and collaborate with the customer in building the roadmap of the project/s
- Understand the what and the how of the customer?s business
- Elicit; analyze; validate; and manage the business requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Manage change of scope throughout the project lifecycle (when applicable) in collaboration with the project manager
- Recommend and assess different solutions according to the business need and collaborate in selecting the best fit
- Document the solution requirements depending on the project used methodology (Agile; Waterfall; … etc) and prepare it for the customer?s signoff and development team implementation
- Conduct a final check and sign off before delivery
- Conduct demos for customers and gather feedback
- Support and guide customers during the UAT
- Stay aligned and updated with a high level overview of other projects inside the same program
- Anticipate potential challenges and conduct impact analysis on the program level in collaboration with other analysts across the program when applicable
- Identify potential business opportunities that can grow the business
- Review the outcome of the junior and senior analysts work (when needed)
- Mentor and support junior and senior analysts from a technical perspective
Must have professional qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant
- Other when mandated or based on Business need
- 8+ years of relevant experience (Business analysis; testing or development; or relevant to the customer's Business) including at least 5 years in a Business analysis role
- Understanding of Business models and Business processes is a must
- Requirements engineering knowledge is a must
- Processes modelling experience is a must
- Understanding of databases and relation modelling is a must
- Knowledge of different technologies is a must
- System analysis and design methodologies experience is a must
- Knowledge of cost benefit analysis is a must
