Job Description:

• Lead Data Migration Projects
• Manage the full data migration lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, validation, and go live.
• Ensure seamless transition from legacy banking platforms to modern core banking systems (Finacle).
• Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Validate and review data mapping, recommend and implement solutions.
• Data Quality Assurance: Lead post migration data validation and reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans (Unit, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing) and resolve data related issues.
• Documentation and Compliance: Document migration strategy, methodologies, data flow diagrams, and ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks; develop contingency and rollback plans.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and guide team members; schedule, monitor and review tasks for consistency and risk reduction.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze lessons learned and refine methodologies for future migrations.
• Support for Projects & Management: Provide support to related transformation projects and respond to management requirements related to data governance and program reporting.

Skills Requirement:

• At least 3 core banking data migration projects (Finacle mandatory).
• Strong experience with Finacle data structures and migration strategies.
• Experience with core banking modules: Assets, Liabilities, Trade Finance, GL.
• Advanced SQL and data handling skills.
• Strong banking industry knowledge.
