Job Description: Lead Engineer, Modernized Software Baseline
Location: Hanscom AFB, MA

Overview:
TTC is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Engineer to manage the Modernized Software Baseline for the Command-and-Control Systems Engineering Technology (C2SET) program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, cloud-based services, and military operations. This role involves designing and architecting model behaviors to represent operationally relevant capabilities using Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) or other Modeling and Simulation (M&S) frameworks.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Relevant experience in developing systems using C++, AFSIM, Python, Web services, and other necessary programming languages.
Cloud and RESTful Services:
- Leverage experience with cloud-based services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, as well as RESTful architectures to enhance and modernize software solutions.
Military Operations and Planning:
- Experience in military planning, operations, and wargaming to ensure software solutions align with and support military requirements.
Design and Architecture:
- Design and architect model behaviors that represent operationally relevant capabilities using AFSIM or other M&S frameworks, ensuring high fidelity and operational applicability in simulations.
Innovation and Modernization:
- Lead the modernization of legacy systems by integrating advanced technologies and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities and system performance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in software development using languages such as C++, AFSIM, Python, and Web services.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and RESTful architectures.
- At least 2 years of experience in military planning, operations, and wargaming.
- Secret Security Clearance required.

- Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, and military operations.
- Proven ability to design and architect complex software solutions for M&S frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and modernize legacy systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders in a high-paced environment.
