What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead Engineer – R&D (Embedded Software Engineer) who will join our team at R&D Directorate.

• Developing high quality embedded software solutions using C/C++, tailored for real time applications in connected home appliances.
• Developing RCoS+ based embedded software applications for our novel product portfolio and supporting existing framework.
• Integrating IoT functionalities using in-house designed IoT modules and wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee), ensuring robust and seamless device connectivity.
• Developing applications with real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX) to get low-latency, multi-threaded software architectures optimized for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborating with designers to create next-generation appliances that blend cutting-edge technology with user-centric design principles.
• Driving innovation by filing patents for novel designs and technologies, and authoring research papers to share findings with the industry.
• Strong understanding of cortex M series architecture and microcontroller peripherals to develop efficient and reliable embedded solutions.

Position located in Çayırova, İstanbul.

How do we decribe perfect match?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years in embedded systems development, R&D product innovation, and software-hardware integration is a plus.
• High proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
• Hands on experience for RTOS and real-time software design principles.
• Experience with Python for automation and testing is a plus.
• High proficiency in communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN, as well as hardware debugging techniques.
• High proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git), agile development methodologies, and embedded debugging tools.
• Familiarity with IoT cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) and associated architectures.
• Having expertise in embedding secure and energy-efficient practices into product designs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a research-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to new technologies and a passion for continuous learning
• Having experience on advanced debugging tools and methodologies (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes) to identify and resolve complex hardware-software integration challenges.
• Ensuring all designs adhere to industry regulations, including safety certifications, cybersecurity protocols, and energy efficiency standards.
• Having experience on python to streamline workflows, develop simulation tools, and enhance automated testing frameworks to accelerate development cycles.
