Job Summary
```Duties:```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for children in the toddler and preschool age groups
- Assist in creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and interactive activities
- Provide individualized instruction and support to children with special needs, including those in deaf education, special education, and behavioral health
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes child welfare and supports the social-emotional development of all students
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate educational activities and events
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to parents/guardians

- Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management strategies and individualized support for children with special needs or early intervention requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support each child's growth in areas such as childhood development, early intervention, and child welfare.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and behavioral observations to ensure compliance with educational standards and best practices.
- Foster open communication with families through regular updates on their child's development and classroom activities.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education with proven classroom management experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Expertise in curriculum development that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methodologies.
- Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques tailored for young learners.
