Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to spearhead our installation projects and lead a team of skilled technicians. Duties

• Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and safety standards
• Supervise and mentor field service technicians during installation, repair, and maintenance tasks
• Interpret HVAC system schematics and technical drawings to accurately install complex systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration equipment
• Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure system integrity
• Oversee plumbing connections and refrigeration lines for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout projects to guarantee proper operation and safety compliance
• Maintain detailed documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for client records and compliance purposes

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction-related HVAC installation or service technician roles with leadership responsibilities
• Strong mechanical knowledge across HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately
• Hands-on experience with field service operations including troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters
• Skilled in welding, equipment repair, property maintenance, and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC/R codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations related to refrigerants such as ammonia
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while coordinating with clients and contractors
