Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer with occasional roles in plumbing assistance. In this vital role, you will lead installation projects for HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems, ensuring top-quality service for our clients. Your expertise will guide the team through complex schematics and HVAC design plans, while your mechanical knowledge and field service experience will drive successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while working on diverse new construction projects across the state. Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work occasional travel (4days on/3 days off) work to be considered for position.
- Lead projects varying from small tenant improvements to entire ground-up new builds in a commercial environment. Occasional residential projects.
- Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects, ensuring adherence to schematics, HVAC design specifications, and safety standards
- Assist with plumbing tasks unrelated to HVAC when the need arises.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment using tools like manometers, combustion analyzers, air flow balancing, etc.
- Support field service operations by performing routine maintenance, appliance repair, and system upgrades on HVAC/R equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to execute precise installations and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards for ammonia refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, and property maintenance requirements
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality workmanship and safety
- This is a foreman position. You will be expected to direct projects without supervision.
Experience
- Must hold or be willing to take G-29 Master Mechanical or Mech IV certification.
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical knowledge essential for troubleshooting and installing complex systems
- Hands-on experience in plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, roof top unit, and equipment repair
- Knowledge of field service procedures for appliances and property maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as manometers, multimeters etc as well as be able to balance HVAC systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to teach less experienced install technicians and work with ownership to bid work.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
