Lead Housekeeper

Motel 6 Studio 6 Austin Airport is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Lead Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. This leadership role requires you to speak and write in both English and Spanish, and is responsible for maintaining G6 brand cleanliness standards, supervising housekeeping staff, managing inventory and labor, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, hands-on, and passionate about hospitality leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping team members
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet G6 cleanliness and brand standards
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms, hallways, lobby, and common areas
• Manage housekeeping labor and productivity to meet budget goals
• Order and maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Desk and Maintenance departments
• Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally and promptly
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
• Help create a positive and team-oriented work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
