Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, customize, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, ITSM modules, integrations, workflow automation, and JavaScript-based scripting. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer solutions, UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, ACLs, and Notifications.
- Implement and support ITSM modules including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Request Management
Service Catalog
- Create and manage Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Knowledge Base articles, and Approval Workflows.
- Develop and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine and Scoped Applications.
- Perform integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, JDBC, LDAP, SSO, and third-party tools.
- Build and customize Service Portal widgets, pages, and AngularJS components.
- Configure CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management processes where required.
- Work on Update Sets, application deployments, cloning activities, and release management across environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions and workflows.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, governance, and security guidelines.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Prepare technical documentation including design documents, integration specifications, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and instance maintenance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with significant expertise in ServiceNow platform development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, AJAX, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.

- Strong experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
- Experience in REST and SOAP web service integrations with external enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Experience with ATF (Automated Test Framework) and platform testing methodologies.
- Ability to design process-based solutions and document BPM workflows/use cases.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- CSA (Certified System Administrator) – Mandatory
