Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, and social-emotional growth for infants and toddlers.
• Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports each child's unique needs.
• Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare and development goals.
• Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and behavior management strategies to foster independence and positive behavior.
• Incorporate curriculum development techniques aligned with Frogstreet principles or other educational frameworks to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including toddler care and classroom management.
• Ability to implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate Frogstreet methods or other innovative teaching approaches.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
• Skilled in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions among young children.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools.
• Knowledge of child welfare policies, daycare regulations, and best practices in private school environments.
