Lead Installer - Residential Systems (HVAC/Ventilation/Lighting)

Job description:

QuietCool Home Services is launching a high-performance residential home services company focused on HVAC, ventilation, permanent lighting systems, and energy-efficient upgrades.

Led by experienced leadership with a proven track record of building and running high-performing HVAC and home service operations, we are building a company that installs at ahigh level and is expanding into service and maintenance as we grow.

We are not building a typical HVAC company. We operate with clear standards, strongleadership, and a focus on doing the job right the first time.

The Role

We are hiring Lead Installers to run jobs and lead crews across multiple home systems. This is not a “senior installer” role. You are the person in charge on the job site. The job runs through you—timeline, quality, and execution.

You will:

 Run install jobs from start to finish

 Lead and develop a helper

 Keep jobs moving and on schedule

 Deliver clean, professional installs customers trust

We value attitude and people skills—but this is a lead role. You must be able to make decisions, solve problems in the field, and be willing to improve every week.

What You’ll Be Installing

 Residential HVAC systems (furnace, AC, heat pumps, mini-splits)

 Whole house fans (QuietCool systems)

 Attic fans and ventilation upgrades

 Permanent outdoor lighting systems (roofline / architectural / year-round lighting)

 Indoor air quality add-ons and accessories. This is a multi-product install role, creating broader experience and more consistent opportunity.

Our Standard

 Clean installs—straight lines, tight workmanship, no shortcuts

 Systems set up and tested to perform, not just “turn on”

 Jobs completed efficiently without dragging

 Homes left clean and customers confident

How We Operate

 Jobs are planned and scoped clearly to set you up for success

 Materials and equipment are prepared as much as possible

 When issues come up (and they will), we solve them quickly and keep the job moving

 Leadership is involved and responsive—you won’t be left stuck

Key Responsibilities

 Own the install from start to finish

 Lead the job site and direct your helper

 Complete installs efficiently without sacrificing quality

 Communicate clearly with homeowners

 Solve problems in real time—don’t wait to be told what to do

 Keep jobs on schedule and hit production expectations

 Deliver installs you’d be proud to show another installer

Requirements

Required:

 EPA Certification (Universal or Type II minimum)

 RMGA Certification

 Hands-on installation experience (HVAC or similar trades)

 Ability to run—or quickly step into running—full install jobs

 Valid driver’s license with clean record

 Ability to pass a background check

What We Value Most

 Strong people skills and professionalism in customers’ homes

 Ownership mindset—you take responsibility for the outcome

 Work ethic—you move with urgency and purpose

 Attention to detail and pride in clean installs

 Ability to lead, teach, and hold a standard

Training & Development

We don’t expect perfection—we expect effort and growth.

 We will coach and develop you on install quality, efficiency, and leadership

 You’ll get direct feedback and clear expectations

 If you take ownership and want to improve, we will invest in you

 The standard is high—but we help you reach it

What You Get

 Opportunity to work across multiple product lines (more skills, more value)

 A team that works hard, communicates well, and enjoys the work

 Leadership that is involved and sets clear expectations

 A company expanding into service and maintenance for long-term opportunity

We are focused on maintaining steady install volume and keeping our teams working. Like any construction-related work, volume can fluctuate—but our goal is to keep crews productive and moving.

In return, we expect our team to perform, stay efficient, and help keep jobs moving.

Compensation & Benefits

 Above-average hourly pay based on experience, with opportunities for increased

earnings and advancement as the company grows

 Company vehicle provided

 Health, dental, and vision insurance

 401(k) with company match

 Paid time off and paid holidays

 Core install equipment provided; personal hand tools expected

Work Schedule

 Full-time position

 Consistent work during peak seasons with steady opportunities year-round

 Overtime available based on workload

Growth Path

 Lead Installer → Expanded responsibility → Leadership opportunities as the company

grows

 Advancement is earned based on performance, consistency, and ability to lead others

 Not everyone moves into leadership—we promote those who prove they can operate at

a high level

This Is NOT For You If

 You need constant direction

 You cut corners or rush quality

 You don’t take ownership

 You prefer a slow or laid-back pace
