Lead Marijuana Budtender

Sugarloaf Dispensary is looking for high energy, reliable, customer service-oriented individuals to join our team! We are currently hiring for full-time Lead budtender/Cannabis Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cannabis and the ability to lead and support other budtenders and inventory processes.

Schedule: Looking for open availability for the evening shift

Qualifications:

Must have a current MED badge.

6 months experience in the cannabis industry.

Must have basic computer skills.

Prefer experience with POS of any kind (*not required).

Reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Core Duties:

- Helping customers by listening to their preferences and making recommendations based on the customers taste and efficiently completing transactions.

- Being informed about the products and strains that we offer and being able to compare them to other offerings we have in store.

- Medical implications and efficacies

• The effects
• The high
• The aroma
• The taste
• The aesthetics
• Price points

- Maintaining an accurate register by effectively executing transactions.

- Answering the phone promptly and addressing callers’ inquiries.

- Being Friendly, Helpful, and Humble.

- Maintain compliance with state and city regulations.

Secondary Duties:

- Filling in at reception as needed.

- Stickering labeling and recieving products as time allows.

- Sharing insights about the market and customer

- Cleaning and sanitizing the store.

- Other duties as assigned.

The pay for this position is $17.50 hourly, plus TIPS

Pay: $17.50 per hour
