LEAD Metal Fabricator/Welder

KLT Group is a Metal Fabrication and CNC Machining company in Pottstown PA. Our fabrication department builds custom parts and assemblies for industries from the custom high end fixtures market to machine frames and general weldments. We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working on custom fabrication projects. KLT Group recently expanded our fabrication department into its own climate controlled space with new LED lighting and the latest in welding and work holding equipment.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience managing a small group of welders/fabricators.
• Experience with motivating others and managing a production schedule
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding of steel, stainless, and aluminum
• Experience with finishing, grinding and brushing out stainless steel
• Be able to accurately read a tape measure
• Safely and accurately operate a horizontal or vertical bandsaw for cutting lengths of material
• Ability to go from print to part including:
• Sawing, fitting, welding, grinding and finishing
• Courteous to others
• Punctual and reliable
• Willingness to expand your abilities by learning from others
• Must work well with others in a team mentality to complete jobs
• Experience in finishing a plus (grinding and brushing of stainless steel)
• Fabricate parts from prints in a timely manner and meet deadlines
• Fabricate and finish parts that are accurate to print
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Be able to finish parts to high quality both visually and dimensionally
