Lead Preschool Teacher

The Goddard School located in Buford is currently seeking an experienced, positive, and energetic Lead Teacher to join our team!

Lead Teachers are responsible for supporting the emotional, intellectual, and social growth of their students by developing and implementing lesson plans using developmentally appropriate practices. Additional responsibilities include maintaining student portfolios, conducting bi-annual assessments and parent-teacher conferences, maintaining ongoing parent communication, mentoring assistant teachers, and overall classroom management.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, TCC in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA required
• Minimum of two years of classroom experience required
• Experience working in a NAEYC or CITA/SACS accredited school is preferred
