Dahjia’s Learning Academy is a high-quality early learning center committed to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young children. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our 3–4-year-old classroom.

Position Overview
The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment, overseeing assistant staff, and building strong communication with families. The ideal candidate holds a CDA or higher credential and has a passion for early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily instruction and activities for children ages 3–4
• Create weekly lesson plans aligned with early learning standards
• Incorporate storytelling, music, movement, sensory play, and art
• Conduct developmental observations and maintain documentation
• Promote positive behavior and identify early developmental needs
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and classroom updates
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized learning environment
• Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers
• Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations

Qualifications

• CDA required; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool environment
• Experience as a lead teacher strongly preferred
• Knowledge of child development and classroom management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be dependable, patient, and passionate about early learning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
