Lead Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all project engineering activities are carried out efficiently.
• Manage project design works in coordination with all stakeholders, including but not limited to the Project Management Team, Project Design Team, and Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with the Project Drafting Team to obtain assistance for project design works.
• Ensure that project designs and engineering deliverables are submitted to the client in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with all project departments regarding various factors, including but not limited to material availability, shop drawings, and construction methodologies, in order to evaluate and complete the required project deliverables.
• Prepare and revise submittals for consultants.
• Resolve drawing coordination issues, site detailing, and construction method queries on a day-to-day basis, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain effective and ongoing communication with construction teams, subcontractors, management, and client representatives.
• Monitor and supervise the routine work of Project Engineers.
• Obtain information from the HSE Department and provide recommendations.
• Obtain information from the QA/QC Department and provide recommendations.
• Lead all technical communication between the client, contractor, and project senior management.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Dredging / Marine Civil Construction Industry in Engineering & Design
