Lead Residential HVAC Installer

Mitchell Heating is seeking an experienced and reliable Lead HVAC Installer to join our newly formed residential install team. In this role, you’ll not only lead jobs and guide junior technicians—you’ll also be hands-on, performing full HVAC system installations while helping build out this department.

As we continue to grow, the right candidate may also be called upon to assist with service calls or support our new construction division, depending on workload and scheduling. We're looking for a flexible, motivated team player who takes pride in delivering quality work and keeping projects on track.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform and lead residential HVAC system installations (furnaces, A/Cs, heat pumps, etc.)
• Oversee and build a small install team, ensuring jobs are completed on time and up to code
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, sales department and project managers
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Complete job documentation, start-up procedures, and system testing

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (required)
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to work independently
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics/crawlspaces
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• NATE Certification or similar (preferred)
