Lead Teacher (Christian Early Childhood Center)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our faith-based early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will create a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment rooted in Christian values, and will work collaboratively with a team to support each child’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Foster children’s physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development
• Maintain accurate child development records and conduct biannual parent conferences
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Supervise classroom, support daily routines, and uphold a clean, safe learning space
• Collaborate with co-teachers and attend planning meetings
• Support center-wide events and follow all licensing and center policies

Qualifications:

• Meets MN DHS Rule 3 qualifications for early childhood teachers
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and respond quickly to ensure child safety
• First Aid/CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
• Strong Christian faith and commitment to modeling Christian values
• Positive, team-oriented, and professional communication skills
• Must pass a DHS background check
