The Goddard School in Snohomish is seeking an energetic and compassionate Lead Teacher to work with our infants and youngest toddlers! This classroom serves children between 6-15 months of age and has a ratio of 1:4.
The schedule for this role is 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour long lunch break.
Each classroom is staffed with a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher who work together along with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment for our families. Our school is lead by an Education Director, Assistant Director and two On-Site Owners. As administrators we strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for our faculty every day. We believe that our teachers are the heart and soul of our program and are incredibly lucky to have such a great group of teachers in our school!
Our Lead Teachers are responsible for:
- Stimulating their classrooms with educational and creative lesson planning. Teachers are all given a strong starting point with their lesson planning using Goddard's proprietary curriculum that can be customized based upon the needs of their students.
- Developing positive and professional relationships with families and coworkers
- Working as a team with an Assistant Teacher and members of our Support Staff.
- Upholding Goddard Quality Assurance Health and Safety standards.

Lead teachers are required to have:
- Meet the DCYF Education Requirements of a Lead Teacher (hold a WA State ECE Certificate or equivalent) OR be actively working towards meeting those requirements with a clear plan and documented progress.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Prior Early Childhood Education Classroom experience
- Good References
Additional Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid Training & clear TB test
- 30 Hour STARS Childcare Basics training
- Department of Early Learning Background Check
