Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development.
- Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and physical development tailored specifically for toddlers.
- Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, address individual needs related to special education or developmental delays, and foster strong partnerships.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or student interns, providing guidance on classroom management and instructional techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with specific expertise in toddler care and childhood development.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, literacy education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions.
- Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learning styles and developmental stages while maintaining high standards of childcare excellence.
