Job Summary

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for managing leasing activities and supporting the overall operation of residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This role focuses on attracting potential tenants, maintaining high occupancy levels, and ensuring tenant satisfaction while maximizing property revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day leasing operations and tenant relations.
  • Market available properties through various channels to attract prospective tenants.
  • Conduct property tours and respond to leasing inquiries.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants, including background and credit checks.
  • Prepare and negotiate lease agreements in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and follow up on any outstanding payments.
  • Address tenant complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are in excellent condition.
  • Maintain accurate leasing records, contracts, and documentation.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend strategies to improve occupancy rates.
  • Ensure compliance with local real estate laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leasing, property management, or real estate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of leasing regulations and property laws.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certification in real estate or leasing (optional).
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet leasing targets.
