Hollander Real Estate Law is a boutique law firm focused on transactional commercial real estate matters. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our practice. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with client intake processes, including opening new matters and preparing engagement letters.
- Provide support for firm communications and marketing efforts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining firm procedures, checklists, and organizational materials.
- Support office management and operational tasks as needed to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Prepare, edit, and manage transactional documents, including closing documents for purchases and sales, financing documents, entity and authority documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, licenses, easements, construction documents, operating agreements, and related materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant and/or paralegal preferred
- Experience with commercial real estate transactions is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Clio and Netdocs a plus, but not required
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
