Duties: This job is an in office position.
- Transcription preparation of legal documents & correspondence.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates
- Answer phone calls and take messages with proper phone etiquette
- Coordinate document management systems and ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in legal support or in a similar role
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail for proofreading and editing legal documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Office Experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
