Legal Assistant/Paralegal

BOYCE LAW FIRM, LLP, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota has an opening for a full-time legal assistant/paralegal with emphasis in working in the business and transactions, and trust and estates practice areas. Legal Assistant/Paralegal position is to provide administrative support to multiple attorneys, including:

• Managing calendars and case deadlines
• Scheduling client appointments & court appearances
• Effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and partners
• Preparing correspondence
• Processing and filing mail
• Preparing and organizing documents for execution by clients

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word & Adobe primarily) and ability to work with legal technology, court-filing computer systems, transcription software, etc.
• Proficiency in English and grammar
• Outstanding time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
• Legal paralegal certification or diploma, or college degree
• Proven experience as legal paralegal
• Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and court system
