Immigration - Criminal - Accidents
Bilingual Spanish required. USCIS and/or EOIR experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate looking to become a Paralegal.
All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable experience while earning.
Duties
- Some Saturday work is required.
- Assist attorneys with legal research.
- Prepare and review legal documents, applications, and cover letters with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage legal case files using document management systems.
- Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Some remote work is allowed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as reception, data entry, filing, maintaining client records, and managing calendars for court dates and meetings.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries for attorney review while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Effective interviewing techniques for gathering detailed case information from clients or witnesses across various legal disciplines.
Pay $22.00 and up (depends on experience)
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
