As a Legal & Compliance Associate, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company operates in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The candidate should be familiar with risk management and our industry’s standards. In addition to this, the candidate's goal will be to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular reviews and updates of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance training programs.
• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of our compliance program.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.
• Conduct due diligence on potential business partners and vendors.
• Investigate and respond to any compliance-related issues, including internal and external inquiries and complaints.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory developments to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to financial services, such as AML, KYC, and SEC regulations.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
