Job Title: Legal Counsel, Managing Associate

Role Profile: Legal Counsel, Managing Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of legal services to affiliates, ensuring alignment with business goals in a legally compliant manner, and act as custodian of specialized legal knowledge.
• Provide advice on contractual and legal matters within departments' work arrangements and assignments under guidance from the General Legal Counsel.
• Review, examine and provide recommendations to ensure that all legally binding instruments are consistent with the Kingdom's and Maaden's rules and regulations.
• Negotiate, review and draft agreements and contracts with local and international partners to serve Maaden's best interests.
• Review internal company rules and regulations and provide necessary advice.
• Provide legal advice on contractual, administrative and related matters to all Maaden departments to protect Maaden's legal rights and privileges.
• Review contracts, purchase orders and other legal matters to ensure conformity with the Kingdom's and Maaden's rules and regulations.
• Co-determine legal strategy and execute supporting and enabling business goals.
• Support legal dispute resolution, including revision, preparation, support, advice, representation and reporting in respect to all litigation matters.
• Translate legal documentation (Arabic to English and vice versa).

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law from a reputable university.

Experience

• Minimum experience: 8+ years of experience in corporate legal work with reputable firms, of which at least five (3) years must be at a senior level.
