Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Process payments efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills, ensuring accuracy and security
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
  • Assist in food delivery from kitchen to tables, ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed
  • Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating and reservations when applicable
  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and transactions are essential
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving, cashiering, and cleaning duties
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with food industry tools like OpenTable for reservations or host/hostess roles is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that enhances team collaboration
