ABOUT THIS ROLE

You don't just fix computers — you build trust, solve hard problems, and take ownership from the moment a ticket lands to the moment a client says "thank you." You do your best work quietly, methodically, and right the first time. You care about the craft, not the applause.

As our Level 3 On-Site Technician, you are the last line of technical defense — the person the rest of the team relies on when a problem gets hard. You will work directly at client sites across San Antonio, resolving complex infrastructure, endpoint, and network issues while maintaining the calm, professional presence that keeps client relationships strong.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Diagnose and resolve escalated Level 2 and Level 3 tickets — endpoints, servers, networking, cloud, and security

- Own on-site deployments: workstation builds, domain joins, M365 configuration, Azure/Entra onboarding

- Manage and maintain security tooling including SentinelOne, Datto RMM, and backup/recovery platforms

- Serve as a trusted technical face to clients — communicating clearly, professionally, and with patience

- Document everything: configurations, troubleshooting steps, runbooks, and resolution notes

- Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and contribute to knowledge base growth

- Identify patterns in client environments and proactively surface risk before it becomes downtime

- Support project work including migrations, network buildouts, and hardware refresh cycles

You're the kind of technician who reads the documentation before touching the config. You don't rush. You understand that a clean, well-documented fix is worth more than a fast, sloppy one. When something breaks at 4:45 PM, you don't clock out — you close the loop.

You take pride in your work the same way a craftsman takes pride in a finished piece — the client may never notice everything you did, but you know it was done right. That's enough for you.

You're not the loudest person in the room, but when you speak, people listen. You can explain a DNS issue to a CFO and a VLAN problem to an engineer — and both of them will feel respected, not talked down to.

You thrive with clear goals, room to work independently, and a team that trusts you to own your problems. You don't need someone looking over your shoulder — you are your own standard of excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3–6+ years of hands-on IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 2 or Level 3 role

- Deep working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID / Azure AD

- Experience with networking fundamentals — DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, switches

- Familiarity with RMM platforms (Datto, ConnectWise, NinjaRMM, or similar)

- Experience deploying and managing endpoint security tools (SentinelOne preferred)

- Strong ticketing discipline — every action documented, no exceptions

- Valid driver's license

- Certifications a plus: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MD-102 or equivalent

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
