Library Management:

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital collections including books, journals, theses, and reports.
  • Catalog new acquisitions and manage inventory through library management software.
  • Maintain subscription databases, online journal access, and e-resources.

Information Support:

  • Assist doctors, nurses, and medical students in locating clinical and research materials.
  • Perform literature searches and provide access to up-to-date and evidence-based information.
  • Support academic programs, CME (Continuing Medical Education), and research initiatives.

Digital Access & IT Integration:

  • Manage and update the hospital’s e-library portal (if applicable).
  • Facilitate remote access to online journals and publications.
  • Stay updated with digital tools and reference management software (e.g., EndNote, Zotero).

User Engagement & Training:

  • Conduct orientation programs for new staff/students on using the library.
  • Train users on database searches (PubMed, Scopus, etc.) and reference tools.
  • Promote library resources through newsletters, notices, and user awareness sessions.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of books issued/returned.
  • Prepare usage reports, subscription renewal updates, and budget proposals.
  • Liaise with publishers/vendors for procurement and renewals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
