Responsibilities

• Curate and manage library collections, including cataloging materials using integrated library systems
• Assist patrons with research inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and tailored information management support
• Develop and deliver programs or workshops to promote library resources and literacy skills
• Contribute to social media management efforts to enhance community engagement and promote library events
• Assist with grant proposal writing to secure funding for innovative projects or resource expansion initiative

Requirements

• MLS Public Library Certification or willing to work towards certification.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to assist diverse patron needs effectively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with social media platforms is advantageous
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
