Licensed Acupuncturist

Tumwater Chiropractic Center is a multi-disciplinary practice with locations in Tumwater, Olympia, and Lacey. We are looking to add another acupuncturist to our multidisciplinary team of chiropractors, massage therapists, diet coaches, and exercise specialists! Our mission is to work collaboratively to provide our patients with the best comprehensive care possible.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm

This opportunity is part-time to start, with potential to develop into full time with insurance credentialing.

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Washington
• Experience/Interest in treating acute and chronic pain, neck and back pain, joint pain, muscle tension, inflammation and swelling, and stress-related symptom
• Committed to professional development
• Capable of strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
• Proficient in various acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, including cupping therapy and electro-acupuncture
• Familiarity with Jane App EHR is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide appropriate treatment based off of thorough intake and individual client needs
• Operate 2 treatment rooms simultaneously
• Provide clean and ethical treatments following Clean Needle Technique
• Maintain treatment rooms and practice highest standard of sanitization and cleanliness
• Interact cooperatively with other practitioners to provide an exceptional patient experience and refer for services if needed/applicable
• Present a safe, professional and friendly persona towards patients and coworkers
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records with SOAP documentation, as well as CPT procedure and ICD-10 Diagnosis codes through our Electronic Health Records program JaneApp (training provided)
