Licensed Associate Therapist

We are currently in the hiring process for a an Associate Licensed Clinician (AMFT, ASW, APCC) to work with our SUD/MH clients.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time therapist. The duties will include managing a caseload, group facilitation, and providing individual and family therapy sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications Master’s from an accredited college in the behavioral health field and 2 years experience working in the field of addiction and mental health. State or national license in the an appropriate discipline (counseling, marriage family therapy, social work, psychology).

1. Ability to perform duties as a counselor/therapist according to TAP21 “Addiction Counseling Compentencies” and “12 Core functions of the AOD Counselor” with respect to screening, assessment, individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, case management, referral, discharge summaries, clinical documentation, and professional ethics.

2. General understanding of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels of service and treatment and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders (DSM-V).

3. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with subordinate staff, supervisors, utilization review, managed health care clinicains, medical and mental health professionals.

4. Ability to positively interact and develop rapport with clients and their families.

5. Possess current First Aid and CPR certification.

6. Possess current TB test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
