Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LCSW to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including substance abuse, children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing therapeutic services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. The Clinician will work within a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall well-being of clients through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, focusing on various issues such as substance abuse, mental health, developmental disabilities, and family dynamics.
  • Utilize specialized techniques such as art therapy and other therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in research activities that contribute to the advancement of therapeutic practices within the clinic setting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a mental health professional.
  • Experience working with substance abuse and mental health preferred.
  • Knowledge of children and geriatrics or older adults is a plus.
  • Familiarity with inpatient settings or experience in clinics is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence in clinical practice.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
