Central Valley Indian Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide support to patients and families through assessment of psychosocial needs, care coordination, and connection to community resources. The role’s primary focus is on addressing basic needs, including housing, food security, transportation, and benefits navigation. A secondary responsibility includes delivering therapy services, such as brief counseling, psychoeducation, or referrals for ongoing mental health treatment. The incumbent holds a “Safety Sensitive” position and is responsible for HIPAA compliance.

General Duties
Requirements:
1. Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
2. Current California LCSW, or equivalent licensure/registration.
3. Minimum of two years’ experience in community resource navigation, case management, or related role is preferred.
4. Familiarity with clinical interventions, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice.
5. Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations.
7. Valid CPR Certificate preferred.
8. Clearance from the National Practitioner Data Bank.
9. Knowledge of office skills, typing, filing, medical terminology, and computer literate for word processing.
10. A valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record with the ability to be insured under CVIH’s automobile insurance.
11. An awareness and keen appreciation of Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs. Ability to meet and deal effectively with Indian health organizations consisting of numerous tribes with varied cultures. Tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness, and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.
12. “Safety Sensitive” positions are subject to random drug testing and are required as a condition of continued employment.

Summary:
This is a full-time, in-clinic position Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
