Droel Family Dentistry has been proudly serving our community for over 21 years! We've recently moved into a beautiful new building where our team provides exceptional, patient-centered dental care. Our practice specializes in advanced dentistry including smile makeovers, same-day crowns, Invisalign, and laser dentistry. We're looking for a skilled Licensed Dental Assistant to join our outstanding team!

Position Overview

We're seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to work full-time (4 days per week) in our modern, state-of-the-art practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values quality patient care and wants to work with advanced dental technology in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take digital X-rays, Itero scanning, patient photos, impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide front desk support as needed (scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification)
• Ensure operatory rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patients
• Support the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License
• X-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:

• 1-5 years of dental assisting experience
• Experience with digital dentistry including iTero scanning and same-day crowns
• Experience with Invisalign
• Open Dental software experience
• CPR certification
• Front desk/administrative experience (cross-training is a plus!)
