Licensed Esthetician

Ambitious and upbeat esthetician wanted for the cosmetic division of a well-established private Ear, Nose & Throat practice. Candidate should have a valid Esthetician license. Ideal candidate values team work, is very self-motivated, adaptable and preferably has laser experience.

This position requires working independently in the cosmetic area under the supervision of a medical doctor. Responsibilities include evaluation of skin care and preventative care needs of patients, conferring with the supervising physician to develop a treatment plan through use of skin care products, chemical peels, dermaplaning, facial or laser modalities. After completing training to use a medical-grade laser, candidate will utilize laser for a variety of applications: hair removal, photoaging, pigmentation, vascular treatment, skin resurfacing, treatment of striae and scar reduction. Expectations also include assisting in Filler and Dysport injection consultation and treatments. Candidate should be comfortable with social media marketing and promoting events and product specials. This is a part-time position with potential for a full-time position. Positive attitude and confidence in communication with clients are a must.

Education needed:

Current Limited cosmetology/Esthetician certification either national or state-based is required.

Laser experience preferred.

Required skills:

A successful candidate works well as part of team to improve the health and self-esteem of a client. Great customer service skills are required for this position along with attention to detail and a willingness to complete continuing education requirements as cosmetic laser technology and skin care therapeutics change/advance.

This is a part time position until volume and growth can happen. Marketing of the cosmetic practice and affiliated treatments and events are also expected.

Duties:

Assist providers with cosmetic procedures

Scheduling of patient consultations, confirming appointments, collecting payments

Professional communication with patients during consultations and follow-up calls

Ordering of skin care products and equipment

Cleaning and maintaining equipment and cosmetic room

Organizing, preparing and promoting beauty events

Posting and marketing on Facebook/Instagram

Attending events to market and promote services and business

Managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction

Answering client phone inquiries and emails

Developing treatment plans for existing and new clients

Maintain a professional appearance and keep treatment room neat and organized at all times
