Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care
• Provide expert skincare consultations, recommending suitable treatments and products based on individual skin types and concerns
• Maintain strict sanitation and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Manage medical records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments, client preferences, and progress notes
• Conduct makeup applications for special events or photo shoots, enhancing clients’ natural beauty with skillful techniques
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and lifestyle habits to promote long-term skin health
• Support sales efforts by recommending retail products that complement treatments and meet client needs

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with active certification in cosmetology or esthetics
• Demonstrated experience performing skin care treatments such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser procedures
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, infection control practices, and safety protocols in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with color theory for makeup application and advanced techniques like tattooing or medical esthetic procedures is a plus
• Proficiency in using EMR systems for client documentation and appointment scheduling
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build rapport with diverse clients
• Ability to stay current on industry trends such as hair threading techniques, medical records management, and new esthetic technologies
