Duties

• Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments including head spa treatments, facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin types, concerns, and goals, providing tailored recommendations for skincare routines and products.
• Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Manage medical records accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, documenting treatments, client preferences, and progress notes diligently.
• Educate clients on skincare best practices, product usage, and maintenance to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Stay current with industry trends such as color theory, makeup application techniques, and new esthetic laser technologies to deliver innovative services.
• Promote retail sales by recommending suitable skincare products and beauty tools aligned with client needs.

Skills

• Proven experience in customer service with the ability to connect authentically with clients and address their individual needs.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols and infection control practices essential for maintaining a safe treatment environment.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by state regulations; additional certifications in laser treatments or medical esthetics are a plus.
• Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record keeping and appointment management.
• Skilled in advanced esthetic techniques such as dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and makeup application.
• Knowledge of color theory to assist clients with makeup choices that complement their skin tone and personal style.
• Ability to educate clients on skincare routines while demonstrating professionalism in handling sensitive procedures like tattooing or laser treatments.
