Licensed Esthetician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Esthetician to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional skincare and beauty services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in esthetics, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a relaxing and professional environment for clients. This role offers opportunities to perform esthetic treatments, manage client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our medusa. A comprehensive understanding of salon, spa or medusa industry and social media management is preferred to help promote services and engage with clients effectively.

Duties

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, peels and skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Provide expert skincare consultations tailored to individual client needs, recommending appropriate treatments and products.
• Manage client appointments using salon or spa software such as Vagaro.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatment areas, adhering to health regulations.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending skincare products and treatments that meet client needs, upselling where appropriate.
• Demonstrate product demos and educate clients on skincare routines and product benefits.
• Manage social media accounts to promote services, share client success stories, and increase brand visibility.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, receiving calls, scheduling appointments, and providing guest services to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Assist with managing inventory levels for skincare products and esthetic tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and esthetic procedures.
• This is a part-time position

Experience

• Valid state licensure as an Esthetician with relevant certifications for facials, peels and more.
• Proven experience in a spa or salon environment with knowledge of management systems like Vagaro is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in social media management for business promotion is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a spa or salon setting.
• Background in retail sales, upselling techniques, and product demonstrations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
