Spa Esthetician – Part Time

We are seeking a licensed Esthetician who will deliver exceptional spa treatments and provide a personalized and memorable experience for guests. This position requires expertise in various esthetic techniques, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster an environment of relaxation and well-being. Our Spa team members are professionals with a passion for providing amazing client experiences and possess a high level of expertise in their area of focus. What you will be doing:

• Consult with clients to understand their esthetic needs; guide guests through their spa journey, explaining treatment options and differences, ensuring an experience that meets their preferences and needs while providing a seamless and enjoyable experience.
• Perform treatments according to spa protocols, using appropriate products and adhering to treatment timing.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, sanitizing instruments, and adhering to hotel and local policies, restock linens, supplies, and other materials as needed throughout the day and after each treatment.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding guest information.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the esthetics industry
• Estheticians attend meetings and training sessions to stay current on treatments, products, and best practices.

What you bring:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of prior spa experience; hotel or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, clear, and professional manner.
• Ability to perform tasks with precision, attention to detail, and efficiency, even in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve guest issues with calmness, good judgment, and professionalism.
• An enthusiasm to be an active member of a spa team who work together to provide exceptional spa experiences for our guests.
• Ability to follow directions; strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21+
• Must have a current cosmetology or esthetician license in the state of Rhode Island.
• Additional treatment certifications a plus.
• Must be available on weekends

Compensation

• Flexible, part-time hours
• This is a commission and tip-based role. There is a base pay of $5.00 per hour, plus commission, plus tips based on the service provided
