Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote insurance products.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ needs to recommend appropriate insurance policies, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Negotiate terms and premiums with clients, balancing their needs with company policies to close sales effectively.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA regulations for sensitive health information, while maintaining confidentiality.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to clearly explain complex insurance concepts.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities to serve diverse client populations effectively.
  • Solid analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending suitable coverage options.
  • Expertise in sales administration tasks such as processing applications and managing client records.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $91,462.53 per year
